I liked the analytics provided by TwitSprout as apart from providing follower to friend ratio etc, importance is given to Twitter lists and how you influence your followers through that.
In my earlier blogs related to social media I had discussed about promoting through TFLB (Twitter, FB, Linkedin and Blog) and complementing it by implementing SEO. This time I thought I shall introduce Social Media Influencers and how one can use them to create greater awareness about your product or service.
Who are Social Media Influencers?
Social Media Influencers are the people with mass following, have the capacity to influence their followers or fans or subscribers as the case may be in Twitter, Facebook or YouTube. Hence anyone doing business in B2C sector can utilize these influencers to promote their product / service.

Let me first introduce the factors that play an important role in determining Twitter Grades (TG). They are:
Power
Reach
Authority of a twitter account
Or in other words, TG determines the quality of tweets sent by you and the influence of them upon others.
The following factors play a crucial role as Twitter Algorithm take note of these things;
Follower / Following ratio – The greater the value better it will be for Twitter Grades (TG).
Power of Followers – If more people with high TG follow you the better it will be.
Tweets – Here all the three, quantity, frequency and the recency matter.
Dialogue – The dialogue you establish also plays an important role in getting higher TG.
Let me now come to Organic Twitter Optimization and its role in determining TG. Organic Twitter Optimization, refers to increasing your followers organically by methods such as
Sending tweets of high quality so that they get retweeted.

The figures are not so great. I just had 103 followers and the number of people I follow is 101. But the quality of tweets I send, and the people I follow played a very important role. Since both are good, I got a decent grade of 86/100.
This confirms that quality matters and Organic Twitter Optimization, not merely plays an important role in improving your Twitter Grades, but in retaining or improving the grades too!
