I had already mentioned about the importance of ‘Experiential Learning’ in my blog post titled ‘Enhancing Learning through various Experiential Learning Strategies’.
Today I wanted to share with you how, The George Washington University (GW) in Washington, D.C., has offered Experiential Learning environments in certain disciplines, that help both students and faculty realize their objectives by considering the needs for flexibility and meeting the pedagogical and learning demands.
Their experiential learning spaces include:
· Award-winning, 6,300-square-foot School of Nursing's Skills and Simulation Lab
· Milken Institute School of Public Health
· Physics SCALE-UP classroom
The following videos depict the key features of above mentioned experiential learning spaces.

While developing these projects, GW has realized the importance of inter disciplinary partnerships between IT department, Audiovisual engineers and the faculties of concerned dept and has ensured that the faculties vision in realizing the goals and objectives are well understood by technical people.
There is no doubt that these experiential learning environments would help the concerned professionals realize their goal with ease and ensure better performance.
