In my recent presentation titled ‘Assessments for Testing Deep Learning Characteristics of Learners’ at Learning Revolution on 18th May 2020, I had mentioned that critical thinking is one of the deep learning characteristics of an educational or training program and can be assessed by MCQs and assignments.
In this blog post I would like to introduce ‘Kialo Edu’ a unique tool for inculcating critical thinking in students.
You can use Kialo Edu for
- Hosting classroom debates
- Assessing learning, especially critical thinking
- Sharing knowledge as we can ask learners to discuss a topic by adding arguments or questioning concepts
- Collaboration between faculty and learners, learners among themselves.
A visit to their website will allow you to explore the tool to enhance ‘critical thinking’, one of the most sought after deep learning characteristics for learners.
